What I need to begin:

• Instrument, bow and case (see rentals and wait for your teacher before you rent)
• Suzuki Violin School vol. 1 and CD (also wait for your teacher before getting these)
• A sponge or shoulder rest for the violin
• Patience and a positive attitude
• Willingness to learn new ways of doing things
• Enthusiasm for a new adventure

Make-Up Policy

PRIVATE LESSON MAKEUP POLICY
2020 – 2021

1. There will be no make-ups for missed lessons.
2. If Student is sick, let us know as soon as possible. Do NOT come to a lesson if you are sick. If you miss school because of an illness, then you are also too sick for a lesson.
3. Sometimes make-ups can be scheduled in the time slot of another student who has given plenty of notice for their missed lesson.
4. Please be on time to your lesson. If you are late for any reason, please just understand that your lesson will still end at the regular time. Our schedules are such that we have students back to back all day until 8pm so it is impossible to increase your lesson time if you are late.
5. In the event that your teacher needs to miss a lesson you will always be given as much notice as possible and the lesson will be made up when it is both convenient for you and your teacher.
6. If there is a hurricane and schools are closed, lessons are cancelled.
